1. Scope of Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how RecoupOps Technologies, Inc. (“RecoupOps”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information through our marketing website at recoupops.com and related communications.

2. Protected Health Information (PHI)

When healthcare provider customers connect electronic remittance advice (EDI 835) or EHR data to the RecoupOps platform, RecoupOps operates as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). All PHI is processed in strict compliance with the executed mutual Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and is never sold, shared with unauthorized third parties, or used to train public generative AI foundation models.

3. Information We Collect on Website

We collect contact information (name, work email, organization name, practice size) submitted through our demo and trial intake forms. We do not place third-party advertising tracking pixels on authenticated customer application surfaces containing PHI.

4. Data Security Commitments

All electronic remittances, claim identifiers, and appeal documents are encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We maintain a SOC 2 Type II certification and conduct annual third-party penetration testing.
