Role Overview
Lead the design and scaling of our distributed electronic remittance advice (EDI 835/837/277CA) transaction processing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Scale high-throughput ANSI ASC X12 5010 parser engines
- Maintain certified clearinghouse gateways (Availity, Waystar, Optum)
- Optimize CARC/RARC clustering algorithms across millions of monthly claim lines
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of healthcare EDI architecture experience
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA 5010 X12 transaction specifications
- Strong background in PostgreSQL, distributed queues, and secure VPC architectures
